Should I wear 2 bras?
Dear Aden (ask@askaden.com)
My problem is terribly embarrassing but I'm hoping you can help. I'm 23 now and ever since I was 15 I have been concerned about having small breasts. In high school I felt so self-conscious that I started wearing 2 bras, sadly I've been wearing two bras ever since. My old boyfriend who I had in college and I never really discussed it but I knew he knew I was wearing two bras.
I have been seeing a guy I really like for about two months now and my two bra secret is still just that a secret. I'm now totally freaked out that if things get hot and heavy with my new boyfriend he is going to learn that I'm wearing two bras and think I'm a psychopath. What should I do? Should I tell him? Should I just not mention it? Or should I stop wearing two bras altogether?
Thanks for your help,
Alice.
Dear Alice,
I feel your pain. I think the best thing to do is to stop wearing 2 bras and don't think so much about revealing your smaller breast size. There are bras on the market that claim to increase your breast size to full cups, like the Victorias Secret Bombshell Bra, but this is not the answer either. By walking around with a brawl that resembles a Kevlar vest and is thicker than this phonebook you are not that much better off than a poor girl wearing two bras. Now is the time for change, now isn't now is the time to embrace the real you, now is the time for one bra. I bet you'll be surprised that your new boyfriend probably cares a lot less about your breast size than you do, let him see the real you. You can't keep up this charade forever and it's doing your ego a lot of damage by wearing two bras not to mention I'm sure there is some chafing involved. Try living with the real you for a year or so, if after that your body image is still depressing you maybe take a look at plastic surgery, but I have a feeling the real you, the sexy, self-confident, hot, small breasted you is just dying to come out and you and your new boyfriend are going to love her.
