Is my husband weird? He loves the way my armpits smell and asks me not to wear deodorant. I am not a super stinky person so I guess it is not that big of a deal but the thought of people being able to smell my armpits makes me nervous. Should I give in or tell him he is a freak for wanting to smell my armpits.

Actually your husband is not a freak at all for wanting to smell your armpits. If you look at nature, humans really try to discount the power of pheromones. Your genetic code tells your body to produce pheromones, these pheromones are key in attracting a mate. Have you ever liked the smell of your husband’s shirt? Your husband is attracted to your armpits because the pheromones they produce make him go bonkers and force his body to want to have sex with you. Wearing deodorant not only covers up your pheromones but can cause a chemical reaction that changes them all together.
The fact that your husband wants to smell your armpits is a good thing, you obviously have very strong pheromones in your armpits. Maybe a good compromise is you could avoid the deodorant on weekends and when you are around him and just wear it to work or social setting where he’s not there. Just a thought…. either way whats the harm in letting him smell your armpits?
I bet for every man that reads this that thinks your husband is strange there is 20 that say him liking the way your armpits smell is normal.

I couldn't agree more with Aden's comments as a husband who loves to smell and lick my wife's armpits. They are one of the primary sources of pheromones!

When I was a teenager my friend had a girlfriend that had strong smelling armpits. At first I thought it was gross, but then I found myself getting erections whenever I was around her and could smell her. I don’t think women understand how powerful a stimulant there smell is. I but if someone did a test and had guys smell women’s armpits (without deodorant) most of them would find themselves with an uncontrolled, unwanted erection. I bet even the guys that thought it was gross would be hard as a rock.
The scent of a woman is more attractive at certain times of the month, suggests a new study that had men sniffing women's armpit odor.
"We were interested whether armpit odor changes across menstrual cycle," said study author Jan Havlieek of the Department of Anthropology at Charles University, Prague. "To test this, we asked a group of women to wear cotton pads in their armpits for 24 hours."
The women didn't wear perfumes, use deodorants, eat spicy or smelly foods, smoke, drink alcohol or use hormonal contraceptives such as the pill. Body odor was collected during three phases: menstrual (at the beginning); follicular (between the first day of menstruation and the onset of ovulation); and luteal (the fertile stage). "The fresh pads were subsequently rated for their attractiveness and intensity by a group of 42 men," Havlieek told LiveScience.
The most attractive smells, men said, were from the time between the first day of menstruation and ovulation.
The cycle
The typically 28-day menstrual cycle involves the physiological changes that occur in a woman to prepare for a possibility of pregnancy. It is controlled by the reproductive hormone system.
A cycle is divided into four parts and starts on the first day of menstruation, which is the shedding of tissue and blood from the womb. In the follicular phase, a dominant ovarian follicle—which is a sack that contains the ova, or egg—grows, becoming ready to ovulate. The mature egg is then released in the phase known as ovulation around day 12. The cycle ends with the fertile phase.
Although many men would tell you they're always in the mood, Havlieek and colleagues discovered that men find odors during the follicular phase the most attractive and least intense. On the other hand, the highest intensity smells, corresponding to the lowest attractiveness for men, were found during the time of menstrual bleeding.
"Traditionally it's believed that ovulation in human female is concealed and there are no changes in attractiveness across the cycle," Havlieek said.
The study is detailed in the January issue of the journal Ethology.
Further sniffing
Two other studies by different research teams came to similar conclusions. But those investigations used T-shirts for odor sampling, "making it difficult to pinpoint the source of the smell," said Havlieek, whose team restricted sampling to armpits only.
Finally, the attractiveness of women's faces also changes during the month.
Havlieek's team found that facial images of women in the follicular phase—when the dominant ovarian follicle is getting ready to ovulate—are considered more attractive as compared to images taken in the luteal or fertile phase of the cycle.
The researchers hope to find out which chemical compounds are responsible for the odor changes across a woman's menstrual cycle.
I like the idea of having a man worship my armpits. I want to force him to smell my armpits while I talk dirty to him.....

I met this girl I am dating about 2 weeks ago and I can smell her armpits always. At first I was taken back by the fact that she had pretty strong BO, but as we started dating started to really like the smell of her body odor coming from her armpits. She has got to know that she smells a lot stronger than most people and I'm really afraid of embarrassing her but I really want to tell her that I like the way her that smell and it's a real turn on. Does anyone have any advice on how to tell a girl you're dating is she smells that you like it, and you want to smell her armpits during sex?

I love the scent of a womens armpit, I first noticed this when i was a young man, And have been very lucky most of my life with the women I dated I would tell them about this at the very beginnig only a couple of them thought it was gross. And to the lady anonymous I would take up your ofer in a SECOND :):)
