Why I love the Leica D-Lux 4 camera

Dear Aden, (ask@askaden.com)

I want to get a new new digital camera but I want to find something that is truly unique and will not be easily replaced. I want a real photographer’s camera but not something so bulky that I never have it on me when I need it.

Dear Mason,

If you want something digital that has the wow factor of a vintage Aston Martin and true photo journalist quality, take a look at the Leica D-Lux 4 The compact nature of the Leica D-Lux 4 means it can be with you all the time. But despite its compact size, it offers top Leica quality and gives the photographer plenty of artistic freedom. The D-Lux 4 is ideal, whether for subjects composed with lots of forethought or for spontaneous reportage.
Leica is the conisurers camera and Leica D-Lux 4 will not disapoint. The Leica D-Lux 4, the latest lovechild of Leica and Panasonic. The D-LUX 4 is, at its core, a Panasonic LX3K and but the price disparity is so slim that you’ll barely notice it. The LEICA D-LUX, like the LX3, has a 10-megapixel sensor, 3-inch screen, and a 10x optical zoom. The minimum focal length is 5.1 mm and the max is 12.8 (about a 24-60mm equivalent on a 35mm frame). It has a tiny pop-up flash and ISO sensitivity from 80 to 3200. It weighs 8 ounces. The Leica D-Lux 4 is an outstanding camera and the Leica pedagree is something you can be proud of.
