My BlackBerry Messenger BBM is not working. I have you as a contact on my BBM list and wanted to ask you how everything was going in Aspen this week. I thought maybe that Aspen was not a good cell service place for BlackBerry Messenger BBM but all my other contacts are not working on BlackBerry Messenger either. What is wrong with BlackBerry Messenger?

Things are going great, leaving Aspen today.
My BlackBerry Messenger is messed up to. According to Bloomberg. Research In Motion Ltd. said a service disruption yesterday may have been caused by two new versions of its BlackBerry Messenger application. The company said it has offered a new version of the Messenger software and asked customers who had downloaded or upgraded BlackBerry Messenger since Dec. 14 to get the newest version. Phone service and SMS services on BlackBerry smartphones were unaffected by the outage, Research in Motion said.
I am going to try and download the latest version of BlackBerry Messenger to get my BBM fixed. My BlackBerry Messenger is not sending or receiving messages at this time.

This version addresses issues with versions 5.0.0.55 and 5.0.0.56.
